Embroidered Doilie from the Philippines

This beautiful golden yellow square center piece was created and given to me by my very generous sister. She highlighted each of the four corners with a gorgeous hand-embroidered design of flowers, stems and leaves. She used a cotton-linen cloth and egg yellow and brown thread in making the outline and satin stitches.

I normally use this piece on the side table in our living room. [LH]
