This is one of four pieces of material obtained from the Furniture and Decorating Store ABCHome in New York city. This store carries original furniture and material bought directly from members of various cultures in the nation-states of the world. This cloth used to be a sari worn by somebody in India in the 1950s. ABCHome (www.abchome.com) recommends it being used as window panels.
