This Qi Pao style dress was bought from a boutique store in Beijing in July 2004. The cotton material is typical of the batik made by the Miao people who settle in Guangdong and Guangxi province in mainland China. Clothing made out of these batiks include blouses, bags, pants and dresses and are very popular with foreign visitors to China.
